PROBLEMS
Soil is a finite resource.
33% of the Earth’s soils are already degraded and over 90% could become degraded by 2050.
Misuse of fertilizers.
Around 115M tons of nitrogen fertilizer are applied to our land each year. Only 35% of this is used by them, meaning 75M tons of nitrogen runs off into our rivers, lakes and natural environments.
GHG Emissions
19% of the global greenhouse gas emissions are attributed to agriculture. This is partly caused by inadequate recycling of agricultural waste.
SOLUTIONS
We aim to promote regenerative farming by managing unaddressed organic waste in upstream agricultural supply chains to restore degraded lands and tackle emissions for 300M populations of Indonesia and Malaysia.
WE SHALL AIM TO RESTORE 10,000 HECTARES WITHIN 5 YEARS FROM 2024.
WHY JUST SOIL
An innovative approach, using a sustainable method to regenerate degraded lands and increase productive acreage.
At Just Soil, we believe in giving 110%. By restoring degraded lands organically and patiently, we will promote using ethical farming methods. We shall help farming communities to plant sustainably.
